Performances, shows and events on Koh Samui

AirGym Family stages its own events several times a year at Sky Garden, our open-air venue on Koh Samui: student showcases, the annual anniversary show, charity evenings, a Christmas market and the Aspire Talent Championships. This page holds what stays the same from event to event. Dates, the performance programme, tickets and the menu live on the page of each event.

What kind of events these are

• Student showcases. Our students of all ages — from the youngest kids groups to adults — and their teachers perform what they have learned during the year: aerial silks, hoop, sling and straps, pole, acrobatics and dance. For competitors it is usually the stage rehearsal before the season: Azul Fest, Air Stars and the Aspire Championships.
• Anniversary show. Once a year AirGym Family celebrates its birthday with a themed evening: performances, a market with local vendors, a raffle and a costume theme for guests.
• Charity evenings. Several of our events give back to the island: a fixed part of every ticket goes to Koh Samui Hospital — see Samui Cares and the Christmas Market & Charity Event.
• Aspire Talent Championships. An aerial competition hosted by AirGym Family at Sky Garden, with performers from Thailand and abroad and guest tickets for spectators.
• Outside the studio. We also perform and run free try-out workshops at island events — for example the Explorer Expo at Central Festival.

How an evening usually goes

Most evenings follow the same shape. The market, food and drinks open first; the show runs from about 6 pm for two to three hours; a raffle with prizes from Koh Samui businesses closes the night. Entrance tickets normally include one raffle ticket, and small children are free. Exact times, prices, early-bird deadlines and the menu are different for every event and are always on the event’s own page.

For students who want to perform

Performers are AirGym Family students and teachers. If you or your child train with us and want to be on stage, tell your coach — the line-up and rehearsals for each show are announced in the studio ahead of the event. Not a student yet? Start with our classes.
